In and out like a flash

Christmas was very, very fun, but it was so fast. It went in and out like a flash. I kept thinking that one day, ' It is Christmas. Other days I will be wanting it to be this day. So, what do I do?'. Don't get me wrong, I loved it, but it was kind of strange. I had been waiting for it for a year, and it was suddenly there! I am missing it already. This was a wonderful Christmas with family, gifts, bread, and love. Thankfully, I took some pictures for you, but have not loaded them onto the computer yet, so just wait for a while.

Christmas Eve Eve

It's Christmas Eve Eve! We have last minute Toy Packaging to do, and we are loving every minute of it. Well, most of it. Do you all have your Christmas Music out and playing? We certainly do, if you know us :) . I thought I would add a few more Christmas Photos of us past years, so, enjoy!

All of the cousins on Dad's side, in 2009 I think.

One week till

It is only a week till Christmas and I am absolutely bursting at the seams! Our tree is sparkling with lights and there were almost to many ornaments to fit on the tree. We are finishing up Christmas shopping and shaking the gifts to find out what they are. I have no clue about any of them. Now, who is excited about their Christmas? A couple of past Christmas pictures follow:
Tired mom and I .

The year Dad gave Jenna and I Tiki's.
I'll talk to you before the week is over!
Over and out, Esther.

Cutest smiles

Psalm 106:1-3 Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever. Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can show forth all his praise? Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times. By Jenna Hartman.
I got these verses at www.holybible.com

Jeremiah 20:12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Co-op again!

We haven't been to co-op(our school we do on Monday's with a bunch of other homeschoolers)in nearly a month. . . with everyone being sick, the cabin, and thanksgiving. It was so good to see everyone again! Afterwards I went to the home of Fiona. She has a cute new puppy named Hugo. He has black fur and is very, very, small. He is so CUTE! Any way, the visit was exciting. Also, on The Wissmann Family blog( the Wissmann family are some really good Christian singers with a huge family), the couple Josiah and Abi just had a baby boy, Asher David!!!! Okay, you may think I seem a little overdramatic about people I have not even met officially, but I am so excited!!

Christmas Spirit

It is actually the first day of December! Yeah! I thought it would never come! We are starting to shop for Christmas and get out holiday decorations. And you should just see our Christmas lights this year! Dad did a great job on them. Just wait until you hear about our Christmas tree and how wonderful it will be! My favorite Christmas song is "Mary did you know". I also love  songs from the Slugs and Bugs albums. I love them!

Thanksgiving!

We went to the Edris's house for Thanksgiving, and everyone was there! The Garvin's, The Martins, Uncle Titus and Aunt Alyssa, The Edris's, Papa Paul and Grandma Janet, and, oh it's a big family! We celebrated Marisol's 3rd birthday there too, and she is growing! The rolls and turkey were great, and we played some fun games outside. Emily and Jenna found the best hiding spot. Me and Grant found them and hid there for a while but everyone else gave up(boo). Anyway, we all had a total blast! We really do have tons and tons and tons to be thankful for.

Basketball!

I started basketball today, and it was very fun! My team is Rediet, Micah, Katerina, Glori, Katelyn, Paige, Elle, Taylor, Taylor's friend, Arianna, Sombre, and I. Only 8 of us were there today. I knew all of the boys but one, and know what? You guys are going to have a fun season. I still like soccer better that basketball though-it's like, my signature sport. Anyway, I had a fun time.

We're back!

We actually went to the cabin!Yeah! And it turned out, we went to the best cabin ever! I wish that I could put a video on, but our computer has trouble uploading them, so you'll have to settle for pictures. Wawi and Poppy(Grandparents) came with, and so did the Michaliks. Our crazy family had a crazy time. Such a crazy time that it was crazy fun! The bedroom upstairs was all for the kids(8 of them up there), the kitchen was packed with food and Baconnaise(yuck, Uncle Steve), and the Living room was a total circus! People Everywhere! I should be used to that. We stayed there from Friday evening to Monday morning, and spent a wonderful time with our family. We also watched the NASCAR race, and I guess this was the biggest one, and Stevie said it was really tense. Jenna and Stevie started a café called the" SJ Café", pretty cool. They gave away free tap water, fake lemonade with fake lemons, marshmallows, frozen, crushed up, brown, apples, and much more quality food. Oh, and Audrey fainted a lot:).Pictures following:

Friends and a Hall of Fame

Esther. Friends are so loving. So caring. You can share everything with them. The dictionary describes them as people you enjoy being with, but the dictionary dosen't know anything. They are so much more than that. My friend Abby came over today, and I can tell her anything. Friends are so trustworthy, don't you think? Anyway, over the weekend, we visited Independence Ohio, near Cleavland. We went to some pretty beautiful waterfalls, and we visited the Pro Football Hall of Fame! We saw some old jerseys of players, a Lombardi Trophy, and even found a geocache near there! For anyone who knows me, I love football, playing it too.

The End??????

Is it the end of soccer season already? I don't want to believe it! I love soccer more than any sport, ever! We are now heading into basketball season (I have sports every time of the year, spring is track and field and summer is, well, practice for all of them!) and of course I will have fun, but it is not the same as soccer. The most fun thing about soccer was my team; If I hadn't of had my team, soccer wouldn't of been any fun at all. Each person had a big part in the team, whether it was being funny or being a friend. I appreciate every member of my team. If you don't know me very well, my favorite position in soccer is DEFENSE, I've played soccer since I was 4 (starting at BASA) , and I now play on the Plants and Pillars Homeschool Team!
I love soccer sooooooooooooooooooooo much!

It's Esther. I had a soccer game today(thank you for coming to my game, Wawi and Our Cousins!), and it was fun, even though it was cold and windy. I love my soccer team, and I'll really miss them when our soccer season is done. There is just this thing about soccer, that I get so excited about! I love soccer sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!

This Week

It's Esther. This past week has been pretty full. I'll tell you all about it. First of all, it was a sick week. Peter was sick first, than Jenna, than Kaelyn (only a little), and then of course, me. I was really tired at Wawi and Poppy's house, and I refused ice cream, so you could tell that I was sick. So we came home and watched Star Wars. I was really cold. REALLY, REALLY, cold! The next day I was feeling a lot better. On Friday I went to my friend Abby's sleepover. She was turning 11. We had a blast( by we I mean 4 other girls)! We played an M&M game, a balloon game, and we got to have pizza for dinner. We also got to watch a movie. I stayed up till 2:30 or so, usual for me at sleepovers:). This morning Mom's Aunt Ruth, Uncle Eugene, Aunt Sarah, and Uncle Dom came over. It was fun. So that was pretty much a summary of the week. There is much more this week too, so I'll write again soon!-Esther

New family blog!

Hi, it's Esther. Mom and I just thought of the idea to start a family blog, but to do it, we have to keep it up. So all of us are allowed to write in it(well, except Caedmon and Peter, for now)! I never knew how many fun things there are to do on a blog. You can put pictures in, put movies in, and get comments from people! Today Jenna is really sick with an over 103 degree temperature! We couldn't read because she is asleep, so I decided to make a blog instead. Bye for now!
